About me

My path to the profession of a psychologist began with motherhood (I am a mother of three children) and family problems. At first, I began to actively search for literature on pedagogy and upbringing, this interest turned into a passion for child and family psychology. Having had problems in relationships for many years and feeling constant anxiety for my children, I found myself in a prolonged depression.
Motherhood pushed me to find a solution or at least alleviate my condition.
At first it was religion (services, prayers, spiritual guidance, catechism courses), then I went to therapy (personal and group). I always read a lot (history, culture, philosophy, biographies of people, classical literature, pedagogy), gradually switched to psychological literature. I entered Taras Shevchenko University, Faculty of Psychology. All my searches, therapy and studies gave impetus to personal and spiritual growth, my life changed qualitatively, I overcame depression.
Studying at the Faculty of Psychology gave me an understanding of what I want to do. I consider psychology to be my calling.
While still studying, I started working in a private children's center as a psychologist-pedagogue. I also completed several courses in the CBT method. I did an internship as a clinical psychologist at the I. Pavlov Psychiatric Hospital (Kyiv). I started a private practice, conducted group trainings with teenagers, consulted families on child-rearing issues, and worked with clients with anxiety-depressive disorders (in conjunction with a psychiatrist).
With the outbreak of the war, I moved abroad with my children due to the emotional vulnerability of my daughters, and my son chose to return to Ukraine. It took me several months to restore my psycho-emotional state, and then I began working as a volunteer with several public organizations that provided support to refugees and displaced persons (including cooperation with the Irish Red Cross, the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland).
I currently provide psychological support to young people and women with children who moved to Ireland because of the war.
