My name is Lucía and I have a degree in Psychology (clinical specialization) from the Complutense University of Madrid. Later, I specialized for two years in both group and individual psychodynamic psychotherapy, which allowed me to delve deeper into the analysis of people's internal and relational dynamics. Currently, I am completing a university postgraduate degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy, a training that has enriched me with tools to work in a more comprehensive way, attending to people's present experience. In addition, I have a qualification as a Holistic Health Coach from the IWHI in the USA, which enables me to address specific aspects of people's health and well-being from a holistic perspective. My work career has led me to work in England for 9 years, in the fields of education and mental health, where I acquired valuable experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments. I have also worked for two years in the clinical and community area, collaborating with teams to provide psychological support in various contexts. I currently work as a psychologist in the field of international protection, where I offer individual support and workshops to people who have experienced forced displacement. This work has allowed me to develop a deep sensitivity towards the emotional and psychological needs of those who face significant challenges in their lives.
